Adding a leg to an open option contract

- Dagan White is unable to add a leg to an existing long call to create a bull spread using the Fidelity mobile app, and the app does not recognize the long call as collateral.

- Currently, there is no option to add a leg on the Fidelity mobile app, but the feedback will be shared with the development team for future consideration.

Is it possible on mobile to add a leg to a long call to make it a bull spread as an example? As far as I can see it doesn’t recognize the long call as collateral when trying to open a trade

At this time, there is not a way to add a leg on the Fidelity mobile app; however, I’ll share this with our development team as feedback.
As far as the long call not being recognized as collateral, it is possible that it’s in type cash. To review this in more detail we recommend reaching out to our Active Trader Service team. They are available Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. ET.
