I do have a question regarding Fidelity. I already have a brokerage account on it with a portfolio. But I’m looking into bonds ( municipal and Federal treasury ) and am I seeing it right that I have to make another account for this for the option to show up? In other words, I can see the listings on the desktop website but on the iOS app, it’s hard to access them to buy? Or was it like that by design? Thanks!

Thanks for reaching out to us! Generally, you would not need to open a new account to invest in bonds, as these can be held in most brokerage accounts. That being said, at this time, CDs are available for trading through our mobile app, but other fixed income investments, like treasuries, are only available through the Fidelity website. I will be sure to share your comments as feedback to the appropriate teams. 🟢

Marian, that clears it up! So for me to get bonds or treasuries, I would use the desktop website to do it but CDs are on the iOS app which I’ve noticed lately that are available to access, correct?
