Checking status of Rollover into Fidelity Accounts

Here’s a summary of the main problem and solutions discussed in the conversation:

  • Main Problem: The user, DMO, is trying to check the status of their Letter of Acceptance (LOA) for a rollover into their accounts but finds the process convoluted.
  • Solution Provided: FidelityEmilio suggests a 2-step shortcut on the Fidelity website: after logging in, click on the “Customer Service” link, then find the “Transfers” column and click on “Track your Transactions” to access the status tracker for the transfer of assets.

How would I check the status of the LOA letters for a rollover into my accounts? The LOAs were generated but want to find for future ref on the Fidelity website.

Hey @DMO, thanks for the question. Do you mind sharing a bit more info so I can make sure I’m answering accurately? Did we already generate a Letter of Acceptance (LOA) for something and send it to you digitally? Or are you wanting to status a request to generate an LOA? Also, what type of accounts do you have with us?

Thank you, Emilio, I have generated the LOAs already, online, I believe, so they should’ve already gone out. I have a Rollover from earlier in my career) and a (recently established) Roth IRA, in which to house the moneys coming over.

Of course! I’m happy to help where I can. So ultimately, it sounds like you’re wanting to status your Transfer of Assets into your accounts from an outside firm, am I following correctly?

Correct, that’s it. Tried to find it, myself, but seems to be convoluted.

I hear you, there is a lot of info on the website that can take some getting used to. Good news though, I have a 2-step shortcut to get you there. After logging into the website, look near the very top of the page and you should see a “Customer Service” link. After clicking that, you should see a “Transfers” column with a “Track your Transactions” link. That should get you to the status tracker, where you can check the status of your TOA.
