Here’s a summary of the main issue and the solutions discussed:
- Main Problem: The user is receiving verification texts for a Fidelity Credit Card issued to their wife, which creates a challenge since they will be in different time zones during her vacation in Europe.
- Solution: The user is advised to contact Elan Financial Services using the number on the back of their card to change the text verification number or to find a way to disable the verification for the duration of the trip.

Hello.
I’ve got a Fidelity Credit Card in my name, and recently got a second card in my wife’s name for her to use on an upcoming trip to Europe. She’s used this card to place orders for her vacation online, but the verification texts are coming to my phone. We will be twelve hours offset for a week and she’ll need to be able to use the card without my presence, which was the whole point of getting her a card in her name.
Is there any way to change the text verification number to hers, or to disable it for the days of the vacation so she’s not stranded at some point without a verification code?
Thanks!

Hey! Thanks for reaching out to us here.
We work with Elan Financial Services to help administer the Fidelity Visa Signature Rewards credit card. To best assist and to make sure you do not receive texts at random times while your wife is on vacation, please contact them by dialing the number on the back of your card. 🟢
