Hello support, I was just curious how long it takes on average for mobile check deposits to settle and be available for withdrawal in a Fidelity Youth Account. (I understand direct deposits are faster.)
I originally submitted the check for deposit on 7/5, and it’s now showing up as available to invest. I’d assume the cash will be fully settled and available for withdrawal at some point this week?

From what I’ve found, its usually sometime between 2-7 days after you see that they money is in your account waiting to settle. Hope this helps!

Most deposits, including checks, take 2-6 business days to collect and be available for withdraw and transfer. As you stated, the exceptions are direct deposit and bank wires, which are fully collected upon receipt.

If you log into Fidelity.com and click the “Balances” tab, you can scroll to the “Available to withdraw” section to see the date your funds will be collected.
We do allow some trading on uncollected funds, but you will want to be mindful of potential cash trading violations.
