The settlement period for deposits in a Traditional IRA can vary depending on the financial institution.
In general, it usually takes around 2-5 business days for a deposit to settle and become available for withdrawal or transfer.
However, it’s important to note that this timeframe may differ from one institution to another. To get the most accurate information about settlement times, I would recommend reaching out to your IRA custodian or financial advisor.

Hello there @CrashNoctis! I’ll cover deposits and their availability to transfer or withdraw with you. Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) and check deposits can take 2-6 days to collect in your account before they can be withdrawn. Alternatively, direct deposits and bank wires into your account do not have a collection period and are available to withdraw as soon as you receive them. Just so you know, Fidelity does not charge a fee for incoming or outgoing wires, but many banks do. You can learn more about depositing money into your Fidelity accounts here: https://www.fidelity.com/customer-service/deposit-money If you have recent deposits, you can verify when they will be collected by logging into Fidelity.com and following these steps: 1. Click the “Balances” tab on the “Portfolio Summary” page 2. Under “Available to withdraw,” you will see the date the deposit will be available If you have further questions, please let us know. We’re happy to help! 🟢
