How to Automatically Reinvest My Dividends

Here’s a summary of the main problem and solutions discussed in the conversation:

  • Main Problem: The user, Bren, wants to know if there is a way to auto reinvest received dividends back into the stocks from which they originated, instead of having them go to a core position.
  • Solution 1: Another user suggested clicking on “manage dividends” while focusing on the account.
  • Solution 2: A representative from Fidelity provided a direct link to the page where Bren can change the dividend reinvestment settings after logging in.

This guidance should help Bren set up automatic reinvestment of dividends.

Is there anyway I can auto reinvest my received dividends into the stock they come from? Currently they just go to my core position.
