Hello wonderful Fidelity service reps! Last Thursday October 5th at around 3PM eastern time I transferred some money from my bank account to a trading account. I received an email early Friday morning saying it had been received, and it was removed from my bank account. However, as of right now it still doesn’t show as settled, and I’m unable to use it. I pay my bills from this account and have never had a transfer of funds take this long. Is there a way I can check the status of the transfer and get an idea of when it will be settled? Thanks!

It’s great to get a chance to respond to you today, @Zucce05! We appreciate all the engagement here on Discord. When you transfer funds into your Fidelity account, there are varying collection periods depending on the method. Electronic Funds Transfers (EFT) can take 2 to 6 business days to fully collect. You can learn more about deposit methods below. Depositing Money Into Fidelity: https://www.fidelity.com/customer-service/deposit-money If you wish to avoid collection periods, bank wires and direct deposits are fully collected upon receipt. You can see when your deposit is expected to collect on Fidelity.com by logging in and by following the steps below: 1. Click “Accounts & Trade” in the top left corner and select “Cash Management” in the dropdown 2. Choose your specific account in the left column 3. Review the “Upcoming Activity” tab Reach out to us again if you have any additional questions! 🟢

It shows no pending activities. Image
Ah, I went to the wrong place. I found it. Thanks! I’ve never known about this location. While I’m annoyed the transfer still has several days to complete, I’m glad to know when.

Happy to help! I can certainly understand. Again, if you want to skip the collection period altogether, you can consider processing a bank wire or a direct deposit. Let me know if you have other questions today!
