Hi, @deeeeetrick. This is not always automatically done, and you may need to request a withdrawal manually. You can review your available choices by logging into your NetBenefits account and following the steps below. 1. From the “Quick Links” tab, select “Loans or Withdrawals” 2. Choose the button “See your Options” to review your choices If you are eligible to make a withdrawal, you’ll want to add your bank first. To do this, follow these steps: 1. From the “Quick Links” tab select “Bank/ Tax Information” 2. Choose “Link Bank Account” under the withdrawal type you are making Additionally, most 401(k) plans will contain a De Minimis distribution rule. Depending on your 401(k) balance, employers may automatically roll funds over to an IRA or send you a check. Account balances below $1,000 are typically withdrawn as taxable distributions and sent to the plan participant’s address. I recommend you give our 401(K) team a call so they can review your plan and give you more information on your specific situation.
