How to see gains and losses from different time frames?

  • Main Problem: The user wants to check gains and losses for VOO over different timeframes (days, months, years) instead of just the current figures.
  • Solution 1: Users can view daily gain and loss percentages on Fidelity.com by using the Chart + feature on the Research page, selecting the desired timeframe, and switching to “Table View” to see detailed data.
  • Solution 2: While the Chart + feature is not available on the mobile app, users can check their Total Gain/Loss in dollars and percentage by logging into the app and navigating through their account details.

Thanks for reaching out to us, @J. Typically, gains and losses update to reflect the current figures throughout the day. Are you looking for a way to view gains and losses for previous days?

Apologies for the delayed response, @J. I’m more than happy to pass along feedback on making these figures more easily accessible. If you weren’t aware, you can view daily gain and loss percentages by using the Chart + feature on the Research page on Fidelity.com. Once you’re in the Chart + tab, select the timeframe below the graph, then click “Table View.” As you’ll see, this will sort out the data from the graph into an easily readable table. From here, toggle on the “See Additional Columns” switch to see the “% Change” column for each date.

Hi, @J. The Chart+ feature is only available on Fidelity.com at this time and not on the mobile app. However, you can view your Total Gain/Loss in dollars and as a percentage on the mobile app by logging in and taking the following steps: 1. From the “Home” screen, select an account 2. Scroll down and tap “See all” next to the positions 3. Swipe to find “Total Gain/Loss” 🟢
