Hello, I was playing around with the margin calculator. Could someone tell me which of these balances is the same as “Available to Withdraw (Cash and borrowing on margin)”? I think it is “Non-Margin Buying Power” but this balance doesn’t change the way I expect it to. Image

Thank you for reaching out to us on Discord, @Ashpenaz. “Cash and borrow on margin”” is the amount collected and available for immediate withdrawal. “Non-Margin Buying Power” is defined by the tool as “Margin buying power available to purchase securities that are not marginable (have a 100% margin requirement)” and is in real-time to calculate your cash available to withdraw. The “Cash and borrowing on margin” does not reflect intraday price movements, only transactions. Thanks for your reply. I was actually able to read the definitions before I posted here. Is there a reason why “Cash and borrow on margin” is not included in the margin calculator?

Thank you for the follow-up. As you know, the Margin Calculator was designed to enable clients to calculate how transactions and changes in value to the securities in their account can impact their margin balances and position-level margin requirements. It is designed as a trading tool. I’ll pass this along as feedback for our developers to look into adding this withdrawal balance. 🟢

Thanks, I think that it is important to know how the “Available to Withdraw” balance would change as a result of trades, value changes, etc.
