Is it possible to create an On the Open order with dollars instead of shares? If it is, I’d love to know how, otherwise it’d be great if you guys could pass the suggestion along to the appropriate team at Fidelity.

Morning @EE, great question! Dollar-based and fractional share orders must be placed with “Day” as the time in force (TIF). With that said, I’ll be sure your suggestion regarding the use of these orders with an On the Open TIF is passed along to the appropriate team. 🟢
