Here’s a summary of the main issue reported by the user and the solutions discussed:
- Main Problem: The user is experiencing difficulties with the updated online retirement tool, which is broken and has worse functionality than the previous version. They are unable to update manually entered external accounts due to unclear instructions and a lack of access to the ‘planning and guidance center’.
- Solution Discussed: A representative from Fidelity acknowledged the user’s feedback and assured that it would be shared with the appropriate team for review. They also encouraged the user to reach out if they needed further assistance.

when trying to use the online retirement tool I found that it was updated. The so-called updated tool appears to be broken or have worse functionality than the previous version. Since it wouldn’t allow me to link accounts previously, I entered external account manually. NOW, I would like to update those. BUT, it won’t let me. It tells me that I need to go to the ‘planning and guidance center’. First, there is NO place on the website with that specific name. When I’m in an area that appears to match that, an attempt to edit the acct doesn’t let me enter me data. It DOES however know about my data since the total value appears correct

FYI: (and adding) I found the organize page. That page does NOT contain the added accounts as indicated by the retirement planning tool…
