Hi there,
@nicm. We appreciate you stopping by our Discord with your question. I’m happy to assist you with navigating Fidelity.com.
The “Performance” tab of Fidelity.com does provide interest and dividend information, however, the information refers to the account, rather than specific securities. That said, I’m happy to provide you with a couple of alternatives.
Treasury securities, such as Treasury bills with maturities of one year or less, are often called zero-coupon bonds. As you know, these do not pay a regular coupon. Instead, they are sold at a discount to their face (or par) value; investors receive the total principal value at maturity. The difference between the discounted price at issuance and the face value at maturity represents the total interest paid in one lump sum.
If you want to see the cost basis information for positions after they have reached maturity, it can be found by clicking “Closed Positions” at the top of the “Positions” page. On the other hand, cost basis information for positions that have not yet matured can be found on your account’s “Positions” tab. Click on the T-bill to view the purchase history details and the total cost basis.
This information can also be found in a printed report from the Fixed Income Analysis tool. Launch the tool from the page linked below, log in, navigate to the positions tab, and select “Print Report (PDF).” You’ll want to select “Positions” in the following menu. From here, you can download this information to your desktop.
