Unable to Link a Bank to Joint WROS Account

Here’s a summary of the main problem and solutions discussed in the post:

  • Main Problem: The user is unable to link their new Joint WROS account to add funds because it does not appear in the drop-down selection menu during the bank linking process.
  • Possible Cause: The user is questioning whether the issue is due to attempting these operations over the weekend, although they believe it shouldn’t affect the process.
  • Solution Offered: FidelityDexter advised that the inability to link the bank account should not be affected by it being the weekend. They suggested contacting Fidelity through social media or their service team for further assistance.
  • Contact Information: Users can reach out for help via the Fidelity contact page provided in the response.

Hello, Yesterday I created a Joint WROS account for myself and my wife to contribute to. I try to add funds and link a bank, however when I go through the link a bank process, my Joint WROS does not appear in the drop-down selection menu as an account to link. Because of this, I am unable to add any funds to the account. Is it because I’m trying to do these operations during the weekend? That shouldn’t really matter though right?

Thanks for stopping by, @User#0541. Hope you had a golden weekend! While the actual transferring of money can’t take place over the weekend, that should not impact your ability to link your bank for the Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) feature. If you are still not seeing the new Joint account as an available account for the EFT setup, please contact us privately through one of our other social media channels (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Reddit) or reach out to our Service team using Fidelity.com so we can take a closer look. If needed, you can access us our Contact page below: https://www.fidelity.com/customer-service/contact-us 🟢
